I just learned how to insert beads while knitting a scarf


I tried to do a "cheaters lace" scarf in order to make the scarf look a bit like a fisherman's net (I need to weave in the two ending strings to complete the scarf).






I bought the beads at a thrift store, I basically purchased some children's neck lases consisting of wooden and seashell beads for about $5 for the three different items.








I've moved on to knitting "web" scarf with a "bundle" stitch out of some reclaimed cotton yarn from an old j crew sweater I had. The beads I am using here are clear for a more sparkley effect.
